REF: INFORMATION ON PREACHER JEREMIAH DAVIS FROM THE USA
The title above refers.
The leadership of the Seventh-day Adventist Church of the Church of Tanzania has noticed ads circulating through the social media, announcing Pastor Jeremiah Davis from the United States that he will be preaching in this country starting on 30/09/2017 -07/10/2017, at King Solomon’s hall located in the Namanga area, Kinondoni district.
This is to inform your office that, though he is being called an Adventist church preacher, The fact is, the Church is not responsible for his visit to Tanzania, having not invited him to be a preacher on the Church’s behalf.
In addition, I am also reminding you that the church has a special procedure for service calls to foreign preachers which is applicable to all levels of church administration, and that it is is the Church that’s solely responsible for making applications to the government for permits for its meetings; but for this preacher, the church leadership is surprised by these ads and we are not sure if his teaching / preaching may threaten the peace and stability of our country.
It is my hope that as soon as you receive this information, your office will commence investigations as to the purpose of this visitor’s coming here, and to identify those who are planning to host him.

Yours in Nation Building
